High Flyers– Garside Sands and Filtec
Filtec
are delivering and placing Garside high quality graded FilterMedia to
one of thirty three sites throughout the Scottish Highlands as part of
a major upgrade of rural filter installations.
The Garside FilterMedia was first collected by Filtec Water Services and then transported to, and stored, at their depot in Irvine. It was then distributed to the various sites by land, sea and air.
The graded silica sands from Garside Sands in Leighton Buzzard make ideal filter media due to their unique grain shape and high quartz content.
The photograph shows Garside FilterMedia being flown into one of the remotest sites in the top west of Scotland.
