Restoration

Quality restoration and aftercare of mineral extraction sites is an essential element of the process of extraction. Depending on the nature, location and geology of the area, mineral extraction offers the opportunity to either return sites to their former use or to create new biodiversity uses. The industry has a long and widely recognised track record for the effective restoration of mineral extraction sites which in many cases has provided improved more diverse after-uses which can provide a valuable resource for both local communities and biodiversity.
