This section attempts to explain the various types of media files used on this site.
Alongside all the accessible media featured on this site is a small icon, this indicates what sort of file you are linking to. Some will be downloaded to your computer others will be loaded up inside your browser. Listed also is the approximate size of the file giving you a rough idea of how long it will take to view the various files.

Portable Document Format - PDF A file format created by Adobe, initially to provide a standard form for storing and editing printed publishable documents. Because documents in .pdf format can easily be seen and printed by users on a variety of computer and platform types, they are very common on the internet. Windows Media Animation - WMA The WMA files featured on this site are movies. They are generally large files and will take some time to download, you will also probably require speakers as audio is featured. Macromedia Flash Animation These files will loaded and viewed in your browser e.g. Internet Explorer. Flash animations can feature video, music and fast moving graphics.
